   Children, Teens & Young Adults

The National Research Center for Women and Families is constantly reviewing current research on a wide variety of topics regarding children's health. Should your children take medication for a cold? Are some popular children's sports more dangerous than you think? Could your daughter be harmed by her boyfriend? Are children reaching puberty earlier than ever before? What’s the best way to keep kids safe? Our goal is to provide news you can use, by making this information available and understandable to our readers. We have summarized recent research findings, and often provide information about how you can get a free copy of the original research.

We include many studies from the last few months, but there are also important studies from last year and previous years. The results are just as true today, and the findings may be very useful to you even though they were not widely reported. We keep studies up on our website as long as they are accurate and useful.
